Protecting the environment and working sustainably are at the heart of Nasiri production. We work in harmony with nature by using natural materials to hand craft our rugs, employing traditional methods that would be recognized by of our forebears of centuries—if not millennia— past. Many of the weaving techniques we still practice today have stood the test of time and are part of a lineage with ancient roots passed on unchanged down the years, from a time pre-waste and pre-plastic. The rugs we weave in Iran use 100% natural dyes which are undoubtably the best option for both patina and planet.
